PAX S Series (S900, S800 and S300) Fault- How To Resolve
We want to offer our sincere apologies if you have been experiencing issues with your PAX S Series terminals (S900, S800 and S300). The fault occurred midnight on the 1st of January 2022 due to a recent software issue.
The devices may be stuck displaying “importing Current Configuration – 100%” due to an issue preventing completion of the start-up process. This is rendering such devices as inoperable.
A software update process is required to resolve the issue and restore functionality. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the issue, the update can’t be “pushed” automatically from Optomany systems. Manual action on each device is therefore required. The update procedure will take approximately 10 – 20 minutes of your time.
